After the match it is important not to just sit down to rest and consequently stiffen up. Try and have a little jog around. Once you feel you are starting to cool down, put a tracksuit on and spend a long time stretching all area of your body. Normally squash players (me included) should concentrate on the hips and back area. Stretching after the match will help your muscles to repair for your next match tomorrow, or sometimes even that same day! If you are lucky enough to have massage available, this is the best time to have one. It can work wonders.
